Key Stage 2 Revised Curriculum

All pupils in Year 5, Year 6 and Year 7 (children aged 8 to 11 years) are being taught the Key Stage 2 Revised Curriculum.

Key stage 2 is a term used to define this group of pupils and sets out a programme of study, set by the Revised Curriculum, for them to follow. It is compulsory for all pupils in this Key Stage to follow a programme of education in six areas:

Language and Literacy
Mathematics and Numeracy
The Arts
The World Around Us
Personal Development and Mutual Understanding
Physical Education

The Transfer Test questions are based on the Language and Literacy and Mathematics and Numeracy sections of the Key Stage 2 Revised Curriculum.
